A little bit of a rant! :)

To people who love air conditioning this is gonna sound blasphemous, but I just don't get it.

What is this obsession with air conditioning? I mean I literally freeze all day; from the moment I step onto the air conditioned bus, to the air conditioned subway, then to the airconditioned mall, and then to my (even more) air-conditioned store. I feel like an ice cube! When did people in Canada get so warm that they needed to have the AC blasting at 15 degrees all day long? Do we get too much summer here, a whole 2 months, that people need to feel cold during it? 15?? I mean that is what its like during the fall and spring!! lol wow I am sure I sound so bitter but I really don't understand it. Maybe its just me, and I get cold too easily, but shivering all day through work, and being forced to buy myself a sweater to wear to work.. during the hottest days of summer, makes absolutely no sense to me! It's the summer, enjoy it! Feel a tiny bit warm and think to yourself "wow I'm warm, this is a lot better than winter :)" Or are we too preoccupied with not sweating or something to enjoy the heat. Maybe its for those people that can't stand the heat and always need to be cool... but when did they get so abundant that the entire mall thermometer had to be set to 18, and my Soft Moc store to 15??? Argh.. I just seriously don't get it.. I hate being cold.

Alright that's all I wanted to say! :) If anyone knows what is going on please let me know! I mean other than being a waste of energy I don't see the use of air-conditioning!!! :P

Also as a less bitter note I'm off to the Yorkdale mall tomorrow morning to get my new ipod mini!! :) Also I work from 12-9, so that should be fun.. And on Sat. my friends are coming for the night and to sleep over so that's gonna be awesome! :) But for the time being I'm alone, hehe 2 nights sleeping in a house all alone.. I can deal; once again its a good learning experience! hehe :)
