Lots to tell, and yet so little..

Lots has happened in my life since last I blogged. I mean, Christmas passed, New Year's passed and its almost Valentine's day. Not that I base time on when different holidays pass, but still. Either way, I had an awesome time in Paris and bought some stuff. But everyone here already knows that so I won't bore you to death. I'll just post some pics.


I am feeling kinda shitty about the SWEP job. I havn't been contacted by any of the ppl I am interested in working with, and if i don't get chosen I know its going to be solely based on the fact that my grades aren't good enough. And the worst thing is that I KNOW if I were just given a chance at an interview I would most likely get it! I'm not bad at interviews and I just want a chance to prove my worth.

I suppose I could always start my honour's thesis during the summer, volunteer at a lab with a prof, and work somewhere downtown (i.e. retail). But I would have prefered to work in a lab over the summer.. *sigh* what can u do, i still have some time to figure it out.

On a happier note, everyone I know has been getting the jobs they wanted/applied for, so maybe all that good luck will spread to me as well and I'll get my SWEP position (cross your fingers for me!) :D

Anyways lets see, what else.. the classes I have this semester are fun and I'll be doing a field course later on in the year so that'll be fun! Reading week is coming up so that'll give me time to catch up on all the readings I SHOULD have been doing!
