realizations :P (this one's a long one, so get ready!)

Well, another day at work, and this time I sold $3000 worth of shoes.. which for me ends up making me about $14/hour! :) for 8 hours.. that's not too shabby in one day haha, and tomorrow is another grueling day of work :P oh well who am I to complain?? its money! lol

On a side note, I came to the realization that if my ex-b/f and I hadn't broken up.. I would never have come to TO, and would never have gotten this job, or this much money, or this experience. After this summer in TO I think I am going to be:

1.) more independent: cause I have to take the subway and get around by myself, and basically do things on my own when I am downtown :)
2.) more confident/self-assured: since I am selling shoes like crazy
3.) more outgoing: since I need to approach total strangers and ask them to buy shoes from me! haha seems to be working for now :P
(if anyone can think of anything else I am going to be.. then let me know :P)

So in general every bad thing can have something good come out of it. At first I thought the breakup was a bad thing.. (though seriously I havn't cried half as much as I thought I would, and I havn't had ANY evil "stay-up-late" bawling sessions since the break-up.. and I was having some of those even while we were going out!) :P Basically I feel a lot of pressure off my shoulders.. now I need to take care of myself, and even though I do miss the good times, I am happy that the bad times are over and will never have to do that again!! :) Next time I will be wiser in who I choose to go out with, and I won't try to change the little things about him to compensate for some the big things that are lacking! (cause there won't be any big things lacking! :P)

So that keeps me going, and i'm genuinely happy with my life at the moment! :) Sept. starts the new school year, and a new year to hangout with/find new friends.. and maybe guys (with my new outgoing attitude that shouldn't be a problem really :P rriiiggghhttt... haha) but for now I am totally comfortable with where I am and I'm just gonna enjoy the summer for what its worth!

Btw today was an amazingly hot day and its so awesome! :)
