Maybe its time for an update!

Wow been a while. Nothing much has happened since I last blogged. I mean most of September and October were really hectic, filled with Scholarship applications, seminars and assignments! Its awesome though, after that seminar was over I was on such a high for some reason!

I mean it was in front for like 100 ppl in my year and like 5 profs, so it was pretty nerve wrecking, but still it felt great to be up there and just getting it over and done with! Once the first few slides were over I felt totally comfortable! This gives me hope for being a professor, I mean if I can do this in front of 100 ppl my own age and in my own program then I can probably talk in front of 100ppl younger than me..

Its kind of unfortunate that Seroude really killed me with his questions, but whatever... by the end of this thesis I'll be able to have all the answers to them!

As for the wanting to do field work, I still do, but my chances of getting a scholarship are slim to non, so I may not be able to work with Steve. However, there are a few other good opportunities that I've been looking into and I'll have to email the ppl to see what they are like! I'm planning either Ottawa or Montreal! That should be fun :D

Halloween party was fun too! Its strange to think that we are in 4th year and this is the last time we are going to be hanging out with these friends for Halloween! Well lets not be that fatalistic, but the chances of having us ALL together for a Halloween definitely get slimmer after this year!

I can't believe how fast the time has gone! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was in gr. 12 and I remember feeling so big.. Now I'm getting to the end of 4th year and I feel.. even bigger?

I'm getting ready to move on to the next stage of my life (i.e. Grad school) but the closer it gets to graduation the more I start to look back and think how great my undergrad experience has been and how great the people I've met are! :D

There are still a few more months so I'll have to make the best out of them!

Also as a final note, 4th year has been the best so far!
